There are significant differences between supply and permanent teaching. Supply teaching is less intense as you don't have to plan the lessons. As long as you have a small bank of lessons that you can go into any classroom and teach, you'll be able to walk into school at 8 o'clock and leave as soon as the children have left and you have done the marking! As you could imagine this is much better than the hours spent in meetings and planning lessons!
Is teaching in the UK for you?
You must be person who wants to travel and work away from home. Teaching in the UK can be challenging but it is very rewarding. You may find it hard to start with. Most teachers from Overseas really enjoy their travels but some find it just too hard being away from their friends and family. You really need to think about this before you rush into anything.
